How We Are Serving Calgarians
Making A Difference
WebStamp was created to help stimulate the failing local economy created by the recent world-wide recession. Getting Calgarians and local businesses to connect with their communities is a sure way to help the local economy. Join the M.A.D. Movement (Make A Difference) that many Calgarians have embraced to improve the way we live.
It is a proving fact that shopping locally helps improve the local economy. Your dollar spent at home, compared to being received by some other city in some other country, is actually worth 3 times it value with local commerce.
WebStamp has developed a Marketplace where Calgarians can easily shop from local merchants. Our readers can purchase items in WebStamp's Marketplace from our Affiliate Members along with coupons and a soon-to-be-implemented rewards program for additional discounts. Instead of waiting for parcel delivery, readers can pick-up, or have delivered swiftly, their online purchases.
We offer several ways for local Calgarian businesses to connect with Calgarians. A very cost-effective method is taking advantage of our FREE local Business Directory Listing. We have divided the directory listing into 5 Zones, Downtown, and the four quadrants. This allows our readers to easily find a local business in their neighbourhood.
Web Advertising is also available so our readers can discover your local business with ads in our articles and content. Your ad will include a link to your web presence and would be included in a Premium Directory Listing. These can be had for a small monthly fee.
WebStamp has developed an Affiliate Membership Program allowing local Calgary businesses to connect to a local audience. An Affiliate Member gets an upgrade to the Premium Directory Listing and a 2 Web Ad Space and an online shop in their directory listing. Along with this they also are allowed to sell products and distribute coupons in our Marketplace. When the WebStamp Rewards Program is developed, Affiliates will also be able to offer WebStamp Stamps to their customers.
