Make a M.A.D. Move

Your M.A.D. Move can be anything from giving someone a helping hand, volunteering for a good cause, or donating, even a little, to a charity or organization. WebStamp’s Make A Difference (M.A.D.) Movement is more than supporting specific causes, its about motivating those Calgarians that always wanted to do something to make a difference, but were not sure on how or what to do to get there. The M.A.D. Movement is here to help you get ideas and push you to make your M.A.D. Move to improving the world we live in.

Join the MAD Movement

Calgarians have always been resourceful in developing ways to Make A Difference in a positive way in creating a beneficial change for their neighbours. In times of disaster many good Samaritans are there to assist in rescue, assistance, cleanup and recovery. Many more also help by supporting causes protecting the environment, eliminating injustices, to curing life threatening ailments.

Just think of how much more we can accomplish with many, many more people making a difference for our communities and wellbeing.

There are so many awesome ways where you can take pleasure in knowing you made a difference for the better, and enjoying the activities of your M.A.D. Move. Just make sure you get involved in something that you are interested in. With a lack of enthusiasm, very little ever gets done. You must be passionate about your goals so you can encourage others to do the same. When many make a M.A.D. Move, we have a Movement that will make a big transformation benefitting all.

Starting by simplifying and improving your lifestyle. Shop smart, clip coupons, buy less expensive brands or fewer items, etc. With all the money you save by indulging in fewer unnecessary luxuries you can make a difference by donating to your favorite charity. Volunteer with your local community association or non-profit organization is a great way to keep active, socialize and enjoy your community.

Calgary’s Municipal Development Plan began a movement in the fall of 2014 to reshape the city with community oriented vibrant main street corridors. After organizing 2 years of input from Calgarians, work has begun on 7 priority areas in helping to connect and create vibrant communities.
In order to develop more sustainable, worry-less, tiny house communities we must first set guidelines to determine the use and functionality of the project. First, we must ask why such a development would be merited. Most people looking to downsize to a tiny house are looking to simplify their lives and live, hopefully, mortgage free.
