Lighting Up The Meadows

During the holiday season, as part of informing Calgarians of all the wonderful public art this city has to offer, we have visited several fabulous seasonal Christmas lights displays. We first looked at the Lions Festival of Lights and then the vibrant ZOOLIGHTS.

The Christmas Lights at Spruce Meadows is another light display one should not miss. Completely free, enjoy a truly magical journey through a quarter of a million sparkling holiday lights. Hurry though, only a few days left, it ends January 6, 2019.

Journey with your car through the magnificent light display with a 2 km drive through the lit-up Spruce Meadows grounds. Each evening from 5 to 8 pm you can stop at the Founders Plaza Enjoy a hot chocolate or coffee together with a pastry in warm comfort.

This illuminating event is proudly sponsored by Scotiabank, Bennett Jones, ATCO Group and AKITA Drilling. Even though the new year has arrived we can still enjoy the holiday season for a few days more. The Christmas Lights at Spruce Meadows, along with the ZOOLIGHTS and the Lions Festival of Lights run until January 6. Continue the Christmas Spirit, at least for a few more days, and brighten up your evenings, enjoying the many holiday light displays around Calgary.
