La triangulation est une variante d'échecs à 2 ou 3 personnes très difficile jouée sur un plateau triangulaire composé de 64 triangles noirs et blancs. La triangulation utilise l'ancien jeu de stratégie indien, Chaturanga, jouant les pièces du général, de la cavalerie, du char et de l'infanterie.
La triangulation se joue sur des triangles au lieu de carrés pour simplifier la direction du mouvement de chaque joueur. Le but du jeu est de capturer les Généraux adverses tout en restant le dernier joueur avant d'être capturé.
