For the last several centuries business has advanced commerce following the linear model. This has created many problems and situations with depleting resources, inflation, impracticability, excessive waste and pollution. As a solution, commerce is now looking at doing business in a more sustainable eco-friendly way using a circular economy model.
If you don’t have the time or funds for a full-on vacation the solution is a Staycation! Enjoy the many activities, events, places, and entertainment as a tourist in Calgary.
Luminous Crossings is a collection of 20 sculptures of two large-scale towers at each end and three hanging works on each of the four station platforms. A subtly engineered interaction of material and light conveying the concept of connections through rail travel in sync with the arrival, docking, and departure of trains synced with changing of coloured lights.
