Be sure to participate, and even leave your mark, with this monumental once in a life opportunity where our communities come together as a nation and forge new ideas and concepts that will continue to show the world what a diverse nation Canada is. Do not only enjoy the events, but participate, or create, your own way of celebrating or contributing to our nation. A simple thing most people can do is to take Mayor Nenshi’s Challenge “For Canada’s 150th birthday, let’s all give a gift of three things—three acts of service”. Your act of service could be almost anything, large or small. How can you help? What are you passionate

about? Do you enjoy helping your neighbour, or the community, or contribute to a charity? Stand on the corner and greet people uplifting their spirits by wishing them a terrific day.

Anything that improves this great nation is worthwhile. For ideas go to http://www.threethingsforcanada.ca/ and discover what others are doing. Don’t forget to get others fellow Canadians involved. Spread the word, Tweet, Facebook, etc. and get others involved.
